Can you hear the sweet skirt’s rustle and the jewels’ tinkling ?

In the very heart of the City of Lights, at the third floor of Le Bon marché’s fabulous shelves, a magic ball is being prepared…

The Récrés Fairies have installed a sumptuous wardrobe : an explosion of colors, gold and glitter awaits the lucky guests.

Bursts of laughter and playful footsteps reach the friendly fairies’ ears : the Princesses finally arrive !

In the blink of an eye, a sparkling procession invades the beautiful playroom, decorated with balloons and garlands that read in golden letters : « Happy Birthday ! »

The fairies contemplate for a moment this charming cloud of smiles, before taking out crowns, combs, eye shadow and nail polish of all colors from their baskets.

When the time comes to choose her dress, each guest jumps for joy. In an instant, the little Princesses are dressed and ready to dance. « One, two, three… Music, maestro ! » Tulles, silks and brocades twirl with the rhythm of the dances, in a rainbow of ribbons.

The joyful games are going on until the end of the afternoon, accompanied by the Fairies who are full of imagination to entertain the guests.

Everyone holds one’s breath when the candle-lit birthday cake arrives. The queen of the ball, in her beautiful pink taffeta dress, opens her eyes wide. As soon as the candles are blown out, the cake is cut and everyone enjoys the wonderful snack.

The Récrés Fairies’ mission is accomplished : they have no doubt that, when they go to sleep tonight, each Princess will still have bright eyes thanks to that wonderful day.

Next year, the Marquise of Trianon will surely call on them for her birthday party…
